Zoetis is the world's largest producer of medicine and vaccinations for pets and livestock.
Our brief Zoetis requested a POS Stand which could be displayed in-store and used as an educational tool to allow potential customers to test out how their new vaccinator worked and increase sales of their new product.
The product used for the campaign was required to meet three main purposes.
- Firstly, the product needed to advertise the products with a backer card and hold a physical sample of the vaccinator gun
- Secondly, it had to be durable enough to withstand the use of the practice injection pad (over 100 times)
- Thirdly, it needed to fit on an in-store counter
Our Solution The ‘customised POS Stand’ with practice injection was used as "gift with purchase" for the wholesalers who purchased the applicators. We had to ensure it could display the vaccinator gun securely and that the ‘practice pad’ was durable enough to withstand testing hundreds of times. Each component of the product needed to be customised “to spec”. We engaged our offshore manufacturing partners with expertise producing bespoke products for the animal health industry.
The stands proved to be a huge success- both from a structural design perspective and as an educational tool. The client experienced dramatic growth in sales for Cattle 5ml SafeShot and Sheep 1ml SafeShot vaccinators during the promotion. Responses from the end-use customers were overwhelmingly satisfying with comments such as ‘I’m changing what I use today’ and ‘this has the same feel as the real thing’.
