Nu Skin is a US-based specialist Skin Care and Vitamin company.
Our brief Nu Skin had historically utilised paper bags for customers and affiliates who purchased products from their concept outlets or events. The brief from their marketing department was to move to a refreshing new look and provide bags that were reusable.
Our Solution We presented a large cross-section of potentially suitable bags, strongly recommending non-woven tote style as they are the most cost-effective, durable and come in a great range of vibrant colours and fabric weights.
Nu Skin’s requirement was for 20,000 branded bags plus, which enabled us to source directly from our long-term China manufacturers as well as being confident of QC and ethical sourcing standards. As the bags were to be custom made, it was possible to produce three different impressive large-scale artwork prints onto three different bag colours.
Prior to order placement, we provided Nu Skin with two pre-production samples from our manufacturer; 90gsm and 110gsm heavier weight fabric. After testing both bags the 110gsm option was selected - it was found to be more durable and hold the weight of heavier products more securely, without sagging.
As Nu Skin look to become more and more environmentally sustainable, these promotional re-usable bags were very well received by their distributors. Having the choice of different colours was another exciting aspect.
